8 things to do in Costa Rica
8. White Water Rafting
Sounds extreme, hell yeah it is; slightly. This activity is mainly for the adventurous type of human. There are different rivers all over Costa Rica so difficulty levels differ. Now you don’t have to be an expert usually you have a professional rafter with you guiding you along. In search of adventure and water I can assure you thing is one thing no one wants to miss.
7. Volcanic Mud Baths
After a tidal wave of a day in Costa Rica, get a little dirty in a mud bath. Most of these baths are naturally heated from actual volcanoes! Isn’t that simply wild. Most of these baths also have natural hot springs that range in various tempters which most people hop in and out of depending on comfort level. Without a doubt these Volcanic mud baths are located in some of the most beautiful places.
6. Hop on a Catamaran
The best part of exploring Costa Rica, is the people. They always want you to experience the best possible places around this country. Having a Catamaran experience is absolutely delightful, enjoying the clear blue ocean and sea breeze. Spotting beautiful wild life along the way while listening to amazing music. These trips usually take you to prime snorkeling locations, like the images seen below. Defiantly an excursion I highly value. These trips go out daily weather permitting in the morning, afternoon, and sunset. I personally prefer the sunset trip, absolutely breathtaking and the sky is painted exceptional colors. You can rent a catamaran for only your parties or enjoy a trip with other travelers.

The rooms are spacious and very eco-friendly. Guest can have custom massages come directly to their casita for a relaxing experience. Beyond that this gorgeous place has a bar/restaurant that sits directly at the top of a hill where you can witness the most magnificent of sunsets. Cocktails and food are finger licking good, and anyone can head to their bar and enjoy the view! Also if you arrive before 5pm you can witness the fire start the night off. 4. Zip Line over the Rainforest
So many places you can explore nature in Costa Rica, it is literally the most beautiful place to be alive. How about flying through the sky and seeing all the great lands below. This is absolutely adventure level high, so not something I would take my chill mellow folks too, unless they are looking for some major fun! Zip-line parks are scattered around Costa Rica so anywhere travelers may explore one is sure to find!
3. Lay on the Beaches
Sounds simple enough! All the beaches in Costa Rica look completely different. There are white sand, black sand beaches. Along with rocky beaches and shell covered beaches. Driving 2 miles and finding a new beach with different features is so common. Super calm minimal wave beaches to heavy surf beaches. Makes exploring Costa Rica so much fun.
2. Eat the seafood
Exploring the menu on your holiday I must say is an experience on it’s own. Let me do the simplifying for you seafood in Costa Rica is simply you can’t go wrong with! Fresh seafood brought in daily and most of the locals tend to steer towards seafood as daily must haves. Locals have told me that the meat industry in CR is not something most support. So have the shrimp, fish and all the shellfish your heart yearns for, it won’t be disappointing.
1. Walk through the Jungle
Take a walk explore the green habitat most don’t witness at home. Look at the beauty nature has to offer, taking steps into the wilderness most run into wildlife rather quickly. Myself I walked to the beach and came across an anteater and howler monkeys! The ticos take good care of their country and their animals so wildlife wander everywhere.
Anywhere travelers go in Costa Rica they will marvel in amazement. The lovely beaches, beautiful people, the glory of the luscious land. I hope travelers enjoy this list.
